This tour is designed to bring you home feeling enlightened and refreshed. Combining the spiritual side of SriLanka where you experience buddhist monasteries, shrines and temples. Take you to spend time and leave the production of ceylon tea from its plucking, manufacturing and finally distribution from it’s tea factory and plantation. Tour Pannawala Asiatic Elephant Orphanage in the hills of Kandy. The orphanage was primarily  designed to afford care and protection to the many baby elephants found in the jungles without their mothers.

    2    Colombo / Sigiriya

    • Arrive in Colombo airport and drive to Dambulla Overnight at Amaya Lake Resort.

    3    Sigiriya

    • Excursion to Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya Rock Fortress . Sigiriya was no mere fortress, gloomy and forbidding. At the brief height of its glory – it was a royal citadel for more than 18 years, from 477 to 495 AD and on of the loveliest that have graced this land. There are many interpretations of the Sigiriya period, history replete with legend, love and betrayal. The second most ancient of Sri Lanka's kingdoms, Polonnaruwa was first declared the capital city by King Vijayabahu I, who defeated the Chola invaders in 1070 CE to reunite the country once more under a local leader. Overnight at hotel.

    4    Sigiriya / Kandy

    • Visit the rock caves at Dambulla and a spice plantation before driving to Kandy. Kandy - the hill capital. Venue of the annual Perahera. It was the last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings was finally ceded to the British in 1815. Kandy is an example of Buddhism's influence in Sri Lanka today. Temple's shrines and monasteries keeping alive Buddhist traditions are everywhere. To the Buddhist of Sri Lanka and the world, Kandy is one of the most sacred sites as it is the home of the "Sri Dalada Maligawa" - Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha.Overnight at Amaya Hill Resort.

    5    Kandy

    • Tour of the unique elephant orphanage in the morning. Kandy city tour in the afternoon. Visit the Upper Lake Drive, Market Square, Arts & Crafts Center and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Also visit the Botanical Gardens.

    6    Kandy / Nuwara

    • Drive to Nuwara Eliya (80 Kms, 2-3 huours) enroute visiting a tea plantation cum factory. The cultivation and manufacture of tea is presently a highly skilled, scientific and technical process, with Sri Lanka producing some of the most fragrant teas in the world. Overnight at hotel.

  • DAY
    7    Nuwara / Colombo

    • Morning drive to Colombo. Afternoon tour of the city. A drive through the city will take you to Fort and Pettah - the commercial area of the city and tree-lined Colombo - 07 Cinnamon Gardens. Colombo 3, 4, 5, 8 are the prime residential areas of the City. Visit Fort, and Pettah for Shopping. The Hindu Temple at Sea Street, lined with goldsmith's shops, the Dutch Church at Wolfendaal, dating back to 1749. The historic Davatagaha Mosque, Independence Hall, B.M.I.C.H, see the replica of Avukana Buddha and the Independence Square. Overnight at hotel.

    8    Colombo / Maldives

    • Fly to Male in the Maldives. Transfer to hotel by speed boat or sea plane. Remainder of the day at leisure to soak in the sun and rest. Overnight at Adaaran Club Rannalhi or Taj Exotica & Spa.

    9 to 13    Maldives

    • At leisure to enjoy a beach holiday. Most of Islands resorts in Maldives offer water sports and have a spa.

  • DAY
    14    Maldives / Departure

    • Transfer back to Male airport for your flight back home.
