Who is the Animal here? Mob Beats Leopard to Death

Shame to call ourselves humans when our own race can act in such a way - no brains used or pain to feel the act committed by this mob. This leopard footage near the National Capital Region of Delhi in India shows a leopard being beaten to death. One day our race will realise the importance of this species when we, as humans, will need them to survive in the wild to protect our ecosystems and our future.

Very correctly pointed out by Dr. Anish Andheria (Director, Wildlife Conservation Trust - India) who said ”The easiest outlet of such levels of ”frustration” is aggression towards a helpless being. Today a Leopard, tomorrow a human”.

I wonder who would be called the animal here?

Photographs and video shot by animal activist Naresh Kadyan of the incident in Faridabad’s Kheri Gujaran Delhi. He has an appeal which is mentioned on his Youtube channel.

According to Mr. Naresh Kadyan and the Protest - The Leopard was killed in the presence of the Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad in Khedi Gujran on January 12, 2011. FIR No. 26 was lodged with the Police Station sector - 55, Faridabad. Complaint was moved in the Special Environment Court at Faridabad but Faridabad Police submitted untraceable report before the court, next date of hearing March 14, 2012. Join his Facebook Protest

Thanks Jules for your comments. Yes, according to a recent report by WPSI, there has been 356 Leopard deaths in 365 days. These killings are just the tip of the iceberg - cub mortality around India has not been recorded. As more jungle corridors and peripheries get destroyed with human development - the land of the Leopard shrinks to make them encroach more towards human residential areas causing zone of conflicts.
