On 25th October 2011, we focused one of our past post on Wildlife Photographer Aditya ‘Dicky’ Singh (Wild Shots of the Week) and his amazing art / imagery work in the field of wildlife conservation and photography.
He has done it again and this time around India’s highly reputed Wildlife Magazine ”Sanctuary Asia” with their team and editor, Mr. Bittu Sahgal awarded him this year the Sanctuary Wildlife Awards held in Mumbai, India on the 2nd of December 2011.
Aditya’s picture named the ‘Mother’s Fury’ showcased a mother sloth bear with two cubs on her back fighting a Male tiger in Ranthambhore National Park (More on this incident can be read on his personal blog) -
This image got him the well deserved Sanctuary Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2011 Award.
Along with this award, his evening was highlighted once again when he received a ‘Highly Commended’ award in the same competition for a picture of a Spotted Owlet flying in Ranthambhore National Park.
When speaking to Aditya, he said ” felt great with this accreditation that i have been given and thanks to Sanctuary and especially Bittu in highlighting my work with this prestigious award”.
For all the success, we at Wild Navigator congratulate Aditya for this well deserved achievements. Well done and keep up your good work.
