What makes people travel to the wilderness?

Is it the sheer passion to learn, participate and contribute their experiences to that destination, or just trying to get away from normal hectic lifestyle and finding a lost world somewhere where they can leave all their troubles behind. What fascinates me as a wildlife traveller and many a times i have come across travellers visiting wilderness areas that they are there to explore the hidden secrets of what nature can give them. Maybe by just experiencing a herd of elephants in the wild to just a tiger swallowtail butterfly that sits on their breakfast table while they take uncountable snap shots of that experience.  All these experiences add to their journey to learn from the wilderness.

I have been a part of some of the most memorable wilderness experiences in my lifetime and everyday i do switch off to think more about those times. I am still travelling to more milestones in my career. I believe the journey is more important than the destination and that’s what makes me going  - to explore more.
